The first days of 2011 have been shaken by several events that have also brought our city to the attention of the media. While waiting to know the official reports of the causes of mortality of Zooprofilattico doves in Faenza, an 'other matter disturbs me. And 'these days the news of the kidnapping in different countries of Europe, eggs and meat contaminated with dioxin. The contamination would occur through contact with feed or industrial oils which, again on the press, would be mixed with animal feed intended for meat production or eggs. Based on information derived from
screening procedures, at the time made, oils of this nature would be used in the province and in Faenza, for the production of electricity through combustion.
need to clarify this point with absolute certainty what is the quality and type of fuel used especially in large plants producing electricity from renewable sources in the so-called Faenza, to give certainty to a population for years plagued by foul-smelling emissions and some cases harmful, to see if, in addition to the daily discomfort, there is a danger to public health caused by the presence of dioxins or other carcinogenic compounds.
therefore I question the Administration Comunale per conoscere con certezza la qualità e la quantità di combustibili utilizzati nel faentino per la produzione di energia, con la mappatura della fonti di emissione ed immissione nell’ambiente di sostanze potenzialmente pericolose per la salute pubblica, o causanti disagio per maleodore.
